Gourmet pizza exploding with magical Italian herbs and spices, pasta covered in rich flavoursome Italian sauces, Italian is an all-time favourite cuisine that everyone loves.
However, sometimes the thought of cooking this cuisine can seem overwhelming and laboursome. Head Chef’s at Italia Pizza & Pasta at Currimundi have decided to share their secrets with Sunshine Coast Italian food lovers with the creation of Italia Cooking School.
Italia will be sharing quick and easy recipes for arancini, meatballs, Osso Bucco, Chicken Cacciatore, Porchetta, ravioli, home made pastas such as fettucine and ravioli and lets not forget the sweets such as tiramisu and panna cotta.
“Our aim is to teach how quick and easy popular Italian dishes can be to cook” says Owner Joe Skok. “My Mum and Dad come from different ends of Italy so I have been privy to amazing Italian recipes from the North to the South”.
The family team behind this genius concept have emphasised that these classes will very much be hands on. Joe’s wife Tamara who is also a qualified Chef and Nutritionist emphasises that these lessons will be hands on.
“This isn’t a presentation – participants will be rolling up their sleeves and be cooking all the dishes so that they will confidently and with ease be able to replicate these dishes in their own homes” Tamara said.
Participants will be provided with recipes to all the meals they make so that they can become a Masterchef in their own kitchen.
Lets not forget the most important part of cooking though, finished cooking, everyone will sit down to an Italian Feast. Boun Appetitie’.
