Comedian Peter Berner and the unstoppable Denise Drysdale will face-off over the age-old adage Youth is Wasted on the Young as part of the Spring Retirement Festival on Monday 17 October at Hibiscus Chancellor Park.
Peter Berner is without doubt one of Australia’s most popular TV entertainers. Denise Drysdale has been making us laugh for 50 years.
Regional Manager Retirement Living Queensland, Mark Criddle said it will be great to see these two comic personalities go head-to-head as they tackle one of life’s biggest conundrums.
“The comedy events at the Spring Retirement Festival are always popular and this lively debate is a must-see.
“Having a good laugh is so important in life and we are really looking forward to sharing the laughter through our villages throughout the festival,” he said.
The show is part of the fourth annual Lendlease Spring Retirement Festival, offering a series of free creative events for over 55s hosted by 11 of its retirement villages.
