Crime alert and property security reminder, do you live in or near these streets of Cooroy?

Police are urging the residents of Cooroy and surrounds to ensure they are being security conscious with their homes and vehicles.

Cooroy has recorded a number of property offences over the past couple of weeks.

Police are exhausting all avenues to educate and remind the community to lock their houses and vehicles.

Recently, Police conducted a letter box drop in targeted streets of Cooroy to inform the residents to lock up. Unfortunately, there are still a number of stealing offences occurring due to unsecured vehicles and homes.

Do not hand these offenders an easy opportunity to take your hard earned possessions.

Pleases lock your vehicles and your houses and remove any valuables out of sight.

Do not just flick lock your security doors but instead take the time to key lock it to deter opportunistic offenders.

Property offences have been committed in and near Olivine Lane, Kauri Street, Cordwood Drive, Wilgee Court, Myall Street, Wilson Court, Wilkonson Court, Wattle Street, Oak Street, Bonell Lane, Pearl Street, Straker Drive, Pine Street, Agate Street, Dianella Court, Lake MacDonald , Black Mountain Range Road and most recently there has been an incident in Tinbeerwah.
