More than 400 Sunshine Coast community members converged on USC Stadium on Tuesday, 3 July to attend the Downer Community Open Training Session. The event gave attendees a glimpse into an elite netball training session, with Sunshine Coast Lightning coaches Noeline Taurua and Kylee Byrne leading players in two hours of court work.

Guests had the opportunity to learn about the team’s training regime; ask questions of the coaches, performance analyst and physiotherapist; and participate in a player signing session.
