Headlined by Hoodoo Gurus and You Am I, Under the Southern Stars summer festival will bring together the best of Aussie rock to council's Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday, January 20, 2019.

With a string of acclaimed pop-rock singles, the Hoodoo Gurus were inducted into the 2007 ARIA Hall of Fame and are set to have the crowd rocking and taking a trip down memory lane.

You Am I have received a number of ARIA Music Awards and Top 50 chart appearances and supported international artists like The Who, The Rolling Stones and Oasis.

The cream of the Aussie rock industry, The Superjesus, British India, The Getaway Plan and Scott Darlow will round out this first class Under the Southern Stars line-up.

This quintessential Australian summer experience will be filled with family, friends, good food and great live music and this festival will raise the bar on the Sunshine Coast.

Under the Southern Stars is the perfect Christmas present for a memorable holiday festival experience.

Be warned that with a line-up including Australian royalty right on your doorstep, tickets won't last long.

But wait there is more - stay tuned rock fans for a chart topping special guest performance announcement on October 2.
