Beach safety at the Noosa Northshore Ferry and the Driver Reviver centre at Chevallum were two areas within the Sunshine Coast receiving Easter road safety education this weekend.

The Sunshine Coast Crime Prevention Unit conducted the displays and motorists and families were happy to receive free Easter eggs as part of their safety information packs with some youngsters like Gabby participating in a photo opportunity to promote other policing specialist units.

“We would like to congratulate everyone for their patience and good road etiquette this Easter. We are determined to assist motorists to adhere to road rules and to understand and be mindful of the fatal five,” Sergeant Yvette Tarrier said.
