Since closing the doors of Go Arty, owner Wanda James has been on a mission to clear the final stock and our farmers in need have given her inspiration to make a last-ditch attempt to clear stock donate ALL proceeds going to charity.
Mrs James closed the doors of Go Arty late last year in order to focus on some new projects, however clearing the last container load of artwork and homewares has proved challenging.
“There is not a huge amount left, but enough pieces of art and homewares to make a difference,” Mrs James said.
“With several farmers in our family, I thought we’d jump on the band wagon and host a garage sale with all proceeds to go to my charity of choice called Care Outreach.”
Go Arty’s garage sale will take place this weekend on both Saturday 25 August and Sunday 26 August at 7 Norval Court, Maroochydore between 10am – 4pm.
Mrs James said if members of the community have any good resalable items that they would like to donate, to her know.
“No need to let delivery be a problem,” Mrs James said. “My wonderful husband Gary has a ute and will willingly pick up your item/s.
“This is a great opportunity for those who want to make a positive difference to the drought-stricken farmers and at the same time purchase beautiful gifts, art and homewares for themselves, family or friends.
“This is the worst drought in many years and we believe there is no time like now to band together to help these stoic people of our nation.”
