Guppy’s enjoy a morning with local police

The officers were more than happy to talk to the children about road safety

The children at Guppy’s Early Learning Centre in Beerwah were delighted to have a couple of local police officers visit them on Thursday morning.

Senior Constable’s Sandon and Sawyer spoke to the children about the importance of road safety, particularly about always wearing your seat belt and staying seated in moving vehicles.

The children then got a close up experience with the police vehicle to see the radios, radars and other equipment.

Of course no visit would be complete without demonstrating the police lights and sirens!

Thanks for inviting us Guppy’s, we had a great time.
