Help us save the 7:45am news bulletin

Published:

The ABC is axing the 7:45am news bulletin.

For 80 years this flagship bulletin has ensured regional and rural stories are heard by a national audience.

We need your help to get the ABC to overturn this decision, so that audiences everywhere continue to understand what's going on outside the big cities.

As a part of our Regional Media Campaign, this Wednesday August 19 people from across the country will be posting photos of themselves to social media calling on the ABC to #SaveOur745.

This is how you can help us.

This Wednesday August 19:

Take a photo of yourself with the sign you can download here:

Post it to social media.

In your post remember to include the hashtags: #OurCommunities #OurStories #SaveOur745

Twitter: Tag The Managing Director of ABC David Anderson "@davidnanderson_"
Facebook: Tag the ABC "@ABC Australia"

And finally - don't forget to tag MEAA with either @withMEAA (twitter) or @MEAA (facebook).

Let's make our voices heard this Wednesday.
