“Here If You Need” campaign expanded to all Sunshine Coast Businesses still operating

Published:

No, this is not child labour working from home during this self-isolation period, but our very own Caitlin who is all grown up now at 25 and ready to rev up the Commodore 64 to help promote your businesses

Last week we created an area onsite specifically for Takeaway & Delivery of food items as we had requests to do so, obviously many of us self-isolating (and all of us social distancing) need that service and many cafes & restaurants are trying to keep their doors open. We still have that area there for free advertising so get on it by submitting your details & logo on this form.

We realise other businesses are still operating, though not sure how many and obviously in these seriously unusual times, they have been able to adjust their customer dealings and are needing an extra boost. We normally focus on Events & Community news as you know, but, with no events, we may as well put that time and energy into helping any other business get through this period as well, so if you are still operating, submit your info & logo and we will get you up onsite as well, plus toss through all the various socials where possible.

We are doing this free Advertising for 6 months or as long as this pandemic impedes business as usual. The Government seems to make all their programs 6 months long, hence that time frame, though, perversely for a free offer, we sincerely hope this will be less than 6 months and we get past this period a hell of a lot quicker, for all our sakes.

There are NO strings attached, we don’t want your credit card details or anything like that to hit you up for paid advertising when life goes back to normal. We will NOT be data mining you, selling – or giving away – your details to anyone else and we are NOT building up a marketing database to flog you anything else in future. We know there is a lot of that going around at the moment, so sure, take advantage of anything free that comes your way, but be aware of any booby traps that may lay in wait when restrictions are lifted.

We are a family-owned and operated organisation too who have been around forever, well, since 2002 so some days feel like forever LOL! and we also hope we can go back to our main focus which is more ‘community’ news and events once these extraordinary times pass which is our ‘business as usual’. We are hoping that as many other local businesses will be there with us at the end of this extraordinary period as well, doing their own ‘business as usual’ also 😊

We all need to stick together and help each other out to get this through this.

Of course, any questions, just give us a yell on community@mysunshinecoast.com.au and in the meantime, as the old netball saying goes – damn! Can’t wait to see our team back on court – “We are here if you need”.

Stay strong, stay safe
