Well known and loved Sunshine Coast pub the Palmwoods Hotel has a long history in the region of supporting live music and has been pouring beers since 1912.
Next month sees a relaunch of the iconic venue with a push to re-establish itself as the main Blues venue in the region, a title which it had earned in the not too distant past. The best local and touring Blues acts from around the country and overseas will be invited to play the monthly Blues night which takes place on the second Saturday of every month.
The pub has also undergone renovations of it’s main bar, bistro and sports bar to be more punter friendly and open the space up to allow larger crowds to watch the heightened array of bands bound for the Coast. The next few months will feature Doc Span, Adam Hole Band and Mason Rack amongst others, all national festival acts in their own right. The venue has also teamed up with local agency Beats Cartel, known for putting on quality lineups each week all over Queensland.
