Be a responsible pet owner and get your dog or cat microchipped for free at Sunshine Coast Council's Microchipping Day on Saturday, June 23 from 9am – 1pm at Elizabeth Daniels Park in Buderim.

Microchipping helps council, the vet or lost animal shelter to reunite you quickly and easily should your pet become lost.

The free microchipping is available for dogs and cats currently registered with Sunshine Coast Council.

Bookings are required so visit council's events website or call 5475 7272 to secure your place.

If you have more than one pet to get microchipped you can make a separate booking for each.
