The Cooroy Fusion Festival offers up a treat for local residents and day-trippers alike. Held on Saturday 12 May, there’s a little bit of something for everyone that is sure to make your weekend special.
In perfect proximity to the Bendigo Bank entertainment stage and the surrounding market stalls, the Pickled Possum bar is the perfect spot for those who like to put their feet up while they enjoy great entertainment and an afternoon tipple.
The Pickled Possum bar has an extra special treat just for Mum and Dad this year with free Cooroy Fusion branded stubby coolers being handed out to the first 200 people to purchase a drink at this year’s festival!
Of course, the Pickled Possum doesn’t just stumble its way into the festival, Cooroy RSL has, once again, generously sponsored the bar!
“We couldn’t resist sponsoring something as iconic as the Pickled Possum Bar at a fantastic community event like Cooroy Fusion Festival. This event is all about the community and what the wonderful Noosa hinterland has to offer which is something we feel passionate about at Cooroy RSL. The volunteers that run this event should be applauded, as it’s a great free day out and we hope to see you there!” said Cooroy RSL manager, Tina Mayfield.
Some of the other activities already confirmed for the 2018 festival are the Cooroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank Entertainment Tent; the Noosa Council Cooroy Library activities; Cooroy Supa IGA Tastes of the Hinterland Marquee; Wythes Real Estate Photo Booth & Mother’s Day Card Making; Raine & Horne Climbing Wall & Bungy Trampolines, Tourism Noosa Sand Sculpture, Greenwood Grove Wildlife Show, displays at Cooroora Woodworkers, Cooroy Camphor Laurel, Noosa Orchid Society and the Butter Factory Arts Centre; plus market stalls and many other free activities like rides, face painting and entertainment which are only made possible by the generous sponsorships from the Cooroy Rag, Cooroy Chamber of Commerce, Suttons Cleaning Service, Cooroy Service Centre, Gelignite Jacks, Cartwrights Lawyers, Noosa Beverages, Cooroy Hotel, Cooroy Camphor Laurel, John Madill Toyota, Mower & ATV Solutions, Sunny Coast Accountants, Palm Lake Resort, SPM Law, Max Watterson Associates, McDermott Aviation, Cooroy Automotive, Hinternoosa Real Estate and Katie’s Ark.
