Local businesswoman offers incredible prize for Taylor Swift fans

Janine Burford, owner of tween brand Harper Bee is offering up a signed Taylor Swift microphone as part of a competition and initiative to give tweens something exciting to do while they’re stuck at home.

Setting the challenge for tweens to create their best video with a Taylor Swift song, Janine Burford thought this was the perfect time to join the Tik Tok party and part with her prized Taylor Swift memorabilia piece.

“This official Taylor Swift microphone signed by the star herself came to me after a charity auction and it’s been hanging in my Kawana store producing many an excited squeal from my young customer base.

“While we’ve temporarily had to shut down our stores, I thought there wasn’t much point it in hanging on its own and I could bring much more joy to the beautiful tweens and teens across the internet, giving them something fun to do while stuck in isolation!

“Imagine the excitement for the prize winner to add this to their bedroom wall, and there’s also a second and third prize with two handbag and wallet sets from Harper Bee,” explained Janine.

Fans keen for a chance to win this priceless piece of memorabilia or a Harper Bee prize pack have until 17th May to submit their entry online.

“We’re already seeing an incredible response to the competition and love seeing the girls and boys have so much fun in their videos,” added Janine.

Harper Bee is a tween/teen brand celebrating girls, selling bedding, technology, jewellery, beauty products, clothing, stationery, bags and gifts.

Normally operating from a store in Chermside Westfield Shopping Centre, Kawana Shopping World and pop-up stores, Harper Bee is currently just selling online due to coronavirus restrictions.
