From November 13 to 20, all Bunnings locations are running an initiative called ‘Crime Prevention Week.’

Members from the Sunshine Coast Crime Prevention Unit and Maroochydore Police attended their local Bunnings stores in support of building stronger relationships with the community.

Bunnings are working towards raising awareness with their team members on crime prevention techniques, how to deal with potential offenders, deter theft and the reporting processes involved.

On Wednesday, November 13, police and Volunteers of Policing attended the Caloundra Bunnings store and gave advice to members of the community as well as staff members.

It was great to see the local Maroochydore Police Officers attending and building relationships with their local businesses.

Thank you to all who stopped to have a chat to their local officers and ViPs as we support the local ‘Crime Prevention Week’ efforts.
