Join in a rare opportunity to meet author Clare Press at a delicious spring lunch from 12.30pm on October 18 at council's Venue 114, as she shares insight into the inspiring global change-makers featured in her latest book Rise & Resist.
In addition to being an author, Clare Press is Australian VOGUE's Sustainability Editor-at-large, a passionate advocate for ethical fashion, Australia's go-to journalist on the subject, sits on the Australian Advisory Board of Fashion Revolution and has a successful Wardrobe Crisis podcast series.
Clare will explain what sustainability looks like in a fashion business and will share insight into the global female change-makers featured in her recently launched book Rise & Resist, which will be available for purchase and signing.
Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network, Sustainability Award winners Anne Gibson and Joanna Kristoffersen, and other inspiring local business women will also share their own practical perspectives on how they embrace sustainability in their very differing businesses.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions, grab a signed copy of one of Clare's books, celebrate spring produce and be inspired by these shared conversations.
