Make It Count Webcast

Sick of the election spin and fed up that important issues are being used as political playthings?

A comprehensive webinar is being aired throughout venues across Australia at 730pm on Monday 2nd September, ahead of the election many are citing as the most important in a generation. Both the Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition will deliver an address, in what will be one of their last pitches to the nation before the election blackout.

This is a unique opportunity to be informed on policy issues. The Australian Christian Lobby's Managing Director Lyle Shelton will facilitate the discussion between panel guests bioethicist Dr Megan Best, Wesley Mission's Rev Dr Keith Garner, former attorney-general Robert McClelland, former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson and Centre for Public Christianity's Dr Justine Toh. He'll get their views on refugees, gambling, poverty, sexualisation of society, family and marriage, religious freedom, life issues and more.

Locally, Caloundra CityLife Baptist Church (7 Gregson Place, Caloundra) and Coolum Beach Baptist Church (1912 David Low Way, Coolum Beach) are hosting this free event, from 7pm.
