Maryborough RSL's mural opening

Published:

Federal Member for Wide Bay Llew O'Brien will officially open the Maryborough RSL's Memorial Garden murals, painted by local artist Robbyn Gergos.

The Australian Government's Armistice Centenary Grants Program contributed $11,170 towards the murals.

"These beautifully painted collection of murals are a fitting tribute to our current and former serving personnel, and will add to the rich compilation of other murals that decorate Maryborough," Mr O'Brien said.

"Robbyn has created poignant and reflective work in her mural masterpieces that inspire both remembrance and respect, and I encourage everyone to come along to see them."
