While there is no shortage of negative narrative around the state of the national construction industry, McNab Sunshine Coast last night celebrated exceptional results in the past two years since establishing their office in Maroochydore.
McNab Managing Director and CEO Michael McNab addressed more than 120 guests at the ‘McNab Mingle’ event sharing the successes and growth enjoyed by the Sunshine Coast team since opening the doors in 2017.
“The Sunshine Coast has welcomed us with open arms and we would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported us, resulting in over 50 local jobs within our McNab team and countless more for our local subcontractors here on the Coast,” said Mr McNab.
“Our Sunshine Coast team, led by Carl Nancarrow, is currently delivering eight projects valued at more than $100 million across the education, aged care, residential, health and retirement sectors, with more in the pipeline.
“State-wide we are seeing a similar trend across our Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba offices with the company securing over $200m in new contracts over the past three months”.
“Our existing relationships are extremely important to us with more than 85 per cent of our work coming from referrals and repeat business”
“The trust our clients place in us thanks to our award-winning quality and safety track record, as well as our proven financial stability make us an appealing choice and we have worked very hard to put ourselves in that position.
“It’s thanks to the exceptional commitment and dedication of our over 300 staff across our four offices that we have forged valuable partnerships with our clients, referral clients, subcontractors and suppliers.”
Guests at the event represented a diverse range of industries and heard from expert guest speakers who shared their insight into opportunities to leverage off the major infrastructure investment in the region.
These included Sunshine Coast Airport CEO Andrew Brodie, SunCentral Maroochydore CEO John Knaggs, Director at JLL, Matthew Gould and McNab Sunshine Coast’s Carl Nancarrow.
“The Sunshine Coast is in a very fortunate position with the ripple effect of major infrastructure investment now starting to flow the regional economy coupled with one of the strongest population growth rates in the country,” said Mr Nancarrow.
“Our guest speakers confirmed that the Coast is looking forward to an exceptional period of growth and investment and we’re delighted to be a part of this exciting journey.”
