The new winter menus at Tewantin-Noosa RSL are full of winter delights to satisfy your appetite in these colder months of the year.  With vegetarian, gluten free and low cost options all available, there is sure to be something on the menu to delight and satisfy everyone.

Head Chef, Dwayne Purdie has come up with some delightful new additions to The Bistro menu with so many choices that you’ll want to keep coming back to try them all.

The homemade arancini balls is a delightful starter or main and includes crumbed balls of mushroom risotto stuffed with cheese and served with Napoli sauce, dressed rocket and parmesan cheese. Another entree that is perfect for this winter weather is the chicken, mushroom and sage vol-a-vent.

Even the new salads on The Bistro menu have a warm winter twist with a Rainbow Superfood Salad of quinoa, broccolini, sugar snap peas, carrot, beetroot, sweet corn, char grilled capsicum, zucchini and sweet potato tossed in a goats cheese, homemade yoghurt and herb dressing and sprinkled with pumpkin seeds and your choice of whether to top it off with steamed salmon.  The Seared Scallop and Crispy Pancetta Salad of pan-fried scallops glazed with mint and lemon zest butter tossed with crisp pancetta, sugar snap peas, Spanish onion and bocconcini dressed with lemon vinaigrette is also hard to pass up.

For mains you are spoilt for choice again with pasta, curry, seafood and steak all on offer.  Crispy skin snapper and scallops served with caper and dill butter sauce; gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce and smoked trout; or vegetable Korma curry with pan-fried vegetables, home-blended spices and coconut cream served with basmati rice, pappadums and herb garnish are all sure to be popular choices.

Coffee Shop manager, Sabine Franz has also added some new items to the Coffee Shop menu with a Gourmet Beef Burger, Turkish Lamb Burger and Chicken Burger with pesto and brie now available.  Also three new pizzas have been added to the menu including a Dessert Pizza which is a must try for any sweet tooth with berries, marshmallows, chocolate buttons and toasted almonds on a puff pastry base.

So make the most of the winter weather and warm yourself with something from the new menus at the Tewantin-Noosa RSL.  Call 5447 1766 to make a booking.
