New Years Eve Mooloolaba road closures

New Years celebrations will once again take place at the Mooloolaba beach front precinct.  A number of road closures will be put in place to ensure the safety of the community.

Free buses will operate on New Year’s Eve from Kawana Shopping World, Maroochydore and the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Below are the list of road closure for the Mooloolaba area.

Beach Terrace and car park(between River Esplanade and round-a-bout on northern end of The Mooloolaba Esplanade) Closed to south-bound traffic from 3am, 31 December 7am, 1 January 2019
Mooloolaba Esplanade between Venning Street and River Esplanade 3am, 31 December 7am, 1 January 2019
River Esplanade between Parkyn Parade and Mooloolaba Esplanade 3am, 31 December 7am, 1 January 2019
Burnett Street between Mooloolaba Esplanade and the entrance of Landmark Resort 3am, 31 December 7am, 1 January 2019
Brisbane Road between First Ave and Mooloolaba Esplanade 3am, 31 December 7am, 1 January 2019
Brisbane Road between Walan Street and Mooloolaba Esplanade 3am, 31 December 7am, 1 January 2019

All road closures will be progressively reopened on 1 January 2018 by 7am where possible.
