Pelican Waters continues to set the pace as a real estate hotspot, with the holiday period proving a multi-million dollar bonanza for residential sales.
Henzells’ specialist agents for the area Brad Judd and John Boyle have recorded one of the best summers on record for the agency, achieving approximately $10 million in combined residential and land sales for the month leading into Christmas.
Highlights have included $1.15 million for a four bedroom golf front home in Webb Ellis Court, $850,000 for a designer property at Forster Place and $760,000 for a prime waterfront lot at Harbourlights Way.
John Boyle negotiated four Pelican Waters sales in one whirlwind week – all in the mid to high $600,00s, while the pair also had success outside the suburb including $860,000 for a home at Marisa Court Moffat Beach and $1.7 million for two units on separate titles at 20 Stewart Way, Shelly Beach.
Brad Judd described the market as extremely positive
“It has really gone berserk in the last six week, it’s like somebody has flicked the switch,’’ he said.
Brad said the momentum was set to carry into the New Year with listings and enquiry levels currently very high.
One opportunity creating plenty of buzz are the neighbouring waterfront blocks – 32 and 34 Harbourlights Way – which are going to auction on February 1.
John Boyle said the emergence of the new Pelican Waters Marina and Town Centre precinct was having a hugely positive impact on the area.
“Buyers want to buy and they want to buy now,’’ he said.
“All of a sudden we are getting multiple offers and multiple contracts on every house we sell,’’ he said.
