24 November 2009 Petition regarding Sustainability Declaration

Since the mandatory Sustainability Declaration was introduced by the Bligh Labor Government, my electorate office has received a lot of feedback from real estate agents, solicitors and concerned homeowners - none of it good.

Many homeowners are concerned they won't be able to sell their home because of the checklist and professionals are disturbed by the legal implications of this bill. I urge Noosa residents who share my concerns to sign the e-petition calling for the immediate withdrawal of the mandatory Sustainability Declaration by the Bligh Labor Government. The link to this petition can be found on my website at

Yours sincerely,
