Today, Sea Life Sunshine Coast unveiled a special beach pop-up surprise for locals and visitors alike on Mooloolaba Beach, to celebrate the arrival of Pirates and Mermaids in-attraction these school holidays.
This school holidays, guests to Sea Life Sunshine Coast are invited to don the captain’s hat and go on an underwater treasure hunt with the help of a marine-inspired Treasure Map, featuring creature clues which accompany hidden treasure points around the attraction.
Bonafide pirates can practice hitting the ‘High C’s’ through daily live shows and meet and greets led by ‘Pirate Trevor’, ‘Ethel the Mermaid’ and their marine friends. But never fear, ye’ shall not be made to walk the plank if your singing isn't in tune!
Once the treasure is found and guests have said “Ahoy, me hearties” to their new pirate friends, they can give their new found pirate status the seal of approval by snapping a shell-fie in the ‘Underwater Throne’.
Guests can get their sea legs on and experience the pirate parley daily at Sea Life Sunshine Coast until Sunday 27 January. For more information on show times, please visit www.sealifesunshinecoast.com.au
