Remembrance Day ~ Letter to the Editor

Published:

This Monday 11th November is Remembrance Day. And on the 11th hour, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, Australians around the country will pause to remember.

We will pause to remember those that served in the First World War before the guns fell silent on the Western front at 11am on 11 November 1918.

We will pause to remember all those who have served Australia in all armed conflicts across the world.

I urge all Queenslanders to pause to remember this Monday for those past and present that have fought for Australia.
