Sunshine Coast Police regularly receive complaints of hooning within the district. Do you know how to report?

The Hoon Hotline is available where hooning behaviour can easily be reported.

You can report hooning activity online or by phoning the Hoon Hotline on 13HOON (134666) .

If you are able to provide any of the following details this will be helpful in assisting police to identify the offenders and take action.

  • What the vehicle or vehicles look like (make, colour, vehicle type – sedan, ute etc)
  • What hooning activity the vehicle was doing
  • Registration plate details (State, Registration number – even partial details can be helpful)
  • The date and time of the activity
  • The location where it occurred
  • Any details or description of the drivers or passengers

A photograph or video may also be handy, but do not place yourself at risk or in any danger to obtain this.

If you are witnessing a hooning offence which is occurring at the time, please call 000.

If it is not happening now then report hooning by phone to 13HOON (134666) or use the online form found here
