Please attribute the following statement to a Sunshine Coast Council spokesperson:

Noosa Shire Council Mayor Tony Wellington's comments to the Sunshine Coast Daily on 8 July 2019 that Sunshine Coast Council and Airservices Australia failed to advertise the availability of proposed flight paths for consultation purposes earlier this year in Noosa News, Noosa Today and the Cooroy Rag, are incorrect.

Paid advertisements were placed in an extensive range of Sunshine Coast newspapers by both Airservices Australia and Sunshine Coast Council.  Council's advertisements were published in the three publications identified above, as part of the public consultation period that was conducted between 20 March and 30 April this year.
