Statement from LNP Leader Deb Frecklington

Published:

“Annastacia Palaszczuk needed to sack Jackie Trad today and she failed.

“Jackie Trad has clearly broken both the Cabinet Handbook and the Ministerial Handbook and weak Annastacia Palaszczuk did absolutely nothing about it.

“Jackie Trad had already lost the Cross River Rail portfolio and is now set to be promoted to acting Premier when Annastacia Palaszczuk jets off overseas.

“Annastacia Palaszczuk is the weakest Premier in Queensland history.

“It was up to Annastacia Palaszczuk to enforce the Cabinet Handbook and the Ministerial Handbook and she failed to do either.

“Annastacia Palaszczuk should have also sacked her Chief of Staff two months ago.

“The internal Ernst & Young audit must be publicly released today.

“Annastacia Palaszczuk needs to come clean on what she knew, when she knew it and ensure all $267500 of taxpayer money is paid back.”
