The local business community as well as Sunshine Coast Lightning fans from across the region will celebrate the Club striking back-to-back at a dedicated networking event being held on 22 November.

More than 100 people are expected to attend the Sunset Soiree at The Lakehouse Sunshine Coast, with tickets currently available for purchase and selling fast.

Sunshine Coast Lightning Head Coach Noeline Taurua said guests would have the opportunity to rub shoulders with Lightning players and the coaching team.

“Assistant Coach Kylee Byrne and I will take to the microphone on the night and discuss Lightning’s success to date as well as touch on the Club’s culture and journey over the past two years,” Taurua said.

“It’s been an incredible ride and we’re so lucky to have had the Sunshine Coast community behind us every step of the way.”

Midcourters Laura Scherian, Maddy McAuliffe and Jacqui Russell will also take part in a live panel and outline what it takes to secure back-to-back premierships.

Attendees are invited to network over canapés and drinks and own a piece of history through the live auction, which will see a signed netball from the 2018 finals series go under the hammer.

Tickets cost $50 for members and $55 for non-members. To find out more or book a ticket, please visit www.sunshinecoastlightning.com.au/sunset-soiree.
