Sunshine Coast seniors refresh their driving skills

NOTE: This article is older than 12 months

Department of Transport and Main Roads and Sunshine Coast Police recently held two seniors driving workshops, coinciding with Queensland Road Safety Week.

Lively discussions about road rules when it comes to roundabouts, intersections and merging formed part of the workshop.

The effects of medication on driving ability were also discussed.

The groups also questioned one of our local driving examiners and were keen to take up the offer of a free drive to receive direct feedback about their driving habits.

Thank you to all who came along and made the most of this opportunity this Queensland Road Safety Week.

Keep an eye out on myPolice Sunshine Coast for future workshops!
