Tickets are now on sale for the NRL and Super Rugby pre-season clash at council's Sunshine Coast Stadium in February 2018 and there's an added bonus to go into the draw to win a new scooter.
Three high-profile pre-season games have been locked in - the ACT Plus500 Brumbies and the Gallagher Chiefs from New Zealand on February 14 followed by two NRL pre-season trials on consecutive Saturdays - Canterbury Bulldogs against Canberra Raiders (February 17) and Gold Coast Titans against New Zealand Warriors (February 24).

Tourism, Sport and Major Events Portfolio Councillor Jason O'Pray said with tickets to the triple-header now on sale, it was time for footy fans to ensure they would not miss out on seeing all the action.

"We are really excited to be bringing these three high-profile national level games to Sunshine Coast Stadium and couldn't resist offering just a little bit extra with Christmas fast approaching," Cr O'Pray said.

"Sunshine Coast Stadium will be gifting a brand new scooter with a year's worth of registration to one lucky ticketholder who purchases their pass from December 5 to 20 to any of the pre-season games.

"While there are multiple ticket types available for purchase, every ticket holder will go into the draw to win a motor scooter just in time for Christmas."

The Chiefs versus Brumbies game is expected to feature All Blacks and Wallabies representatives, while for NRL fans, it will be the first visit to the Sunshine Coast for the Bulldogs, Raiders and Titans.
Tickets range from $12-$23 for general admission and $30-$40 for grandstand tickets with the option for fans to grab both NRL games at a discount with the Ultimate League Legend deal.
For those who really love their footy, attractive hospitality packages and limited sponsorship opportunities remain but won't last long.
