The Indee's January summer holiday special will be a low cost family entertainment that is definitely not a wallet buster. Two of the world's best-loved pantomimes all on the one bill, Hansel & Gretel and The Mad Hatter's Tea Party (Alice in Wonderland).
The first half is the happy tale of Hansel & Gretel and the Gingerbread Cottage. Their adventures in the forest include being captured by Zelda the Witch (not too scary) and then meeting up with such story-book characters as Jack (of Beanstalk fame) and his cow Buttercup and The Old Woman (who lived in a shoe). Also walking through the forest is the King's Knight, Freemont (who's not very brave) and Nice King Rodney and Good Queen Beverley There's also Orca the wicked step-mother and Woebegone the Woodcutter.
The second half, The Mad Hatter's Tea Party (Alice in Wonderland), is the wonderful story of Alice's adventures, in company with the White Rabbit, the Dormouse, the March Hare, the Royal Baker (his cakes make Alice bigger and smaller), plus the Cheshire Cat and Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee. Not forgetting the Mad Hatter himself.
These shows are packed with colourful costumes, lots of laughs and music. It's great family entertainment and ticket prices are a LOW $15 for adults and $10 children or a 4 for $40 ticket (4 people, any age, any size).
Dress as your favourite storybook character, join in audience participation segments to win prizes and free popcorn for all kids under 10.
