Thousands of prospective university students from across Queensland and beyond are expected to attend USC’s annual Open Day on Sunday 21 July from 9am to 1pm.
The event at the University’s Sunshine Coast campus at Sippy Downs will give visitors the chance to find out all they need to know about the wide range of study programs on offer.
They will also be able to explore the campus and its world-class facilities, chat one-on-one with academics and talk candidly with current students.
Presentations will outline how to choose the right degree, make the most of university life, and balance study with other commitments such as work, finances and family.
A special drawcard for Moreton Bay and Brisbane residents this year will be an information session on USC’s new Moreton Bay campus that will open at Petrie next year.
This campus will offer almost 50 degrees initially, along with a tertiary bridging course called the Tertiary Preparation Pathway program, and has been described as a game-changer for the region.
Other information available at Open Day will include how to apply to study and enrol, scholarships and financial support, and opportunities to study overseas.
Online registration is available at https://usc.edu.au/open-day and free buses will be available on Sunday from USC’s campuses at Caboolture and Fraser Coast.
USC will stage another Open Day event for Moreton Bay residents at USC’s Caboolture campus on Sunday 4 August.
