It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Noosa Arts Theatre's founding member, past president and past patron, Marea Brown.

This wonderful woman with incredible energy, vision and generosity of spirit, continued to visit our theatre regularly until just a year or two ago; and would award 'Best Actress' each year at the National One Act Play Festival.

Marea, thankyou for your courage, vision, and sense of fun and adventure that led to the birth of Noosa Arts Theatre 50 years ago;  and for your ongoing creative work, support,  and investment of heart, mind and spirit which has helped us to flourish over the decades. You are so deeply appreciated, and will be remembered with great fondness, respect and gratitude.

Noosa Arts Theatre sends our love and deepest condolenses to Peter and family.
