Demand for units remains strong
Walter Iezzi has started work on Oceanus Bokarina Beach, turning the sod on what is shaping up to be one of the most sought after apartment blocks on the Sunshine Coast with almost 70% of all units now sold.
Demand for Oceanus, which is being built in the beautiful Stockland master planned estate, remains strong and has been further buoyed by interstate buyers wanting to escape Sydney and Melbourne as well as the introduction of the Federal Governments HomeBuilder grant.
Developer and builder of the project Walter Iezzi, said that enquiry has been strong from the outset and now that work has officially begun, there has been a flurry of new enquiry.
"Enquiry for units in Oceanus has remained steady from the time we launched and the stimulus packages and overall increased demand for property on the Sunshine Coast has meant that we are answering dozens of calls and emails a day from people.
"Of those enquiring about half would be from interstate, which is in line what I hear others are experiencing", Mr Iezzi said.
The appeal of Oceanus lies in not only the beachfront aspect, but also the fact it is located close to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Kawana Shopping Centre.
"The people who are buying in Oceanus are after a relaxed lifestyle and my apartments offer beachfront living in an award winning master planned community where nothing has been left unthought of.
"When you are at home you will not need your car, and if you need to leave everything is within 10-30 minutes drive – it is the perfect location without being too touristy, so is ideal for everyone from young couples, to families and those looking to downsize", Mr Iezzi said.
Walter celebrated the official commencement of work with a buyer function last Friday night at Malt Shove Taphouse which was attended by 50 guests who have purchased into the development and who are looking forward to moving into their new home late next year.
Oceanus is expected to be completed by Christmas 2021.
