Workforce Health Assessors (WHA), a national leading provider of pre-employment and ongoing medicals, recently expanded to the Sunshine Coast—opening a new facility in Noosaville that is fully-equipped with the latest technology and assessment tools to offer the most efficient services in the industry.

Operating for the past 15 years, WHA offer of variety of workforce medical services, including pre-employment and ongoing medicals, drug and alcohol testing, hearing tests and health and wellness programs.

WHA Noosa owner, Isaac McCrimmon, has an extensive history working in the healthcare industry and a passion for improving the lives of others, so the opportunity to join WHA—and industry leader and well-respected innovator in the health assessment industry—was a no brainer.

“I was drawn towards their strong vision for the future and core values,” Isaac says.

WHA’s pre-employment medical services allow businesses big and small to make better recruitment decisions, identifying whether a prospective candidate is suitable for a specific job role, both physically and mentally. Choosing the right candidates is integral to the success of a business, and allows employers to provide a safe working environment for their employees.

Pre-employment medicals also help businesses in minimising recruitment costs and WorkCover claims.

Whatever the industry, WHA believe that the health and safety of staff is essential and key to optimising an organisation’s productivity. WHA’s services are especially important in industries and businesses where the roles are regarded as higher risk.

“The Sunshine Coast is filled with a lot of potentially high-risk roles, with industries such as manufacturing and construction flourishing here,” Isaac says. “That’s why I think WHA will make such a big impact in the region… Businesses like this need to implement pre-employment medicals in the recruitment process to prevent injuries on-site.”

WHA Noosa provides health assessments that are catered to the specific requirements of the job role. Appointments range anywhere from 15 minutes to 75 minutes, depending on type of pre-employment medical required. All services can be performed at the facility or on-site.

Visit Isaac at 7 Janet street, Noosaville, Queensland. To find out more or to book, visit the WHA website at wha.net.au or contact their Australian customer service team on 1300 552 722.
