Sunshine Coast Police together with local Neighbourhood Watch Groups and the Nambour PCYC invite you to join them for their fur-filled Dogs on Patrol event.

When:   Sunday, July 28 from 9.30am to 1pm
Where:  PCYC Nambour, 10 Youth Avenue, Nambour

By attending Dogs on Patrol, you’ll be able to learn about personal safety, speak with local police and even receive a free Dogs on Patrol leash.

Entry is free and you can register for your free leash at the registration desk on the day.

Dog themed displays and competitions will be held throughout the event.

There will be some furtastic prizes being awarded to best dressed dog, handsomest hound, most fabulous family, loveliest lady, most gorgeous golden oldie and best junior handler.

A free sausage sizzle will be available on the day and there will be a jumping castle for the kids as well as a petting zoo thanks to the Bli Bli Veterinary Surgery.

Raffle tickets will be on sale in the Bli Bli NHW marquee for the chance to win a custom made ring worth $12,500, donated by Sunstate Jewellers.

Dogs on Patrol encourages pet owners to hit the pavement with their furry friends and stay safe whilst walking.

If you or your dog can sniff any suspicious behaviour or see a crime being committed, report it to police.

Community safety and crime prevention is everyone’s responsibility and we are enlisting neighbourhood dogs and their owners to become the eyes and ears out in the streets of Sunshine Coast suburbs.

We hope to see you on Sunday.
