The hearings into the Assistance and Access Bill show that the Australian Government doesn't care about what the Australian IT industry have to say.
After sitting on the Assistance and Access Bill for a couple of years they gave just a few weeks for the community to respond and are rushing "consultation".
The Government won't listen, despite national and international condemnation. However, we think Labor MP's and Senators are realising that this bill will do damage and is a really, really, bad idea.
Help us help them by making it clear them that the IT sector and the community do not support this bill.
We've made a nice campaign page that lets you find the phone numbers for local Labor MP's and Senators really easily.
Can you take five minutes to give them a call?
Thanks for your help!
